The purpose of our group is to come together with young ladies from the ages of 10-17 so that they can have open discussion about their purpose, life challenges, their personal value and how to overcome according to the word of God. You are welcome to bring your daughter, niece, friend or any young lady that needs encouragement.
Our Motto: "Homegirl Respect Yourself!"

Brittney Watson
Brittney was born in Dallas Texas. She spent a few years in a small east Texas town, where she rode horses, tended to a chicken coop, and picked fresh vegetables from a garden. She later moved back to the Dallas area and attended Lancaster High School where she graduated #8 in her class. She went on to major in Business Management earning her Associates degree from Mountain View College and her Bachelors Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Brittney Loves the Lord and loves to sing His praises. She always has a big smile on her face and high energy. She was married in November of 2012 to her High School Sweetheart, Kenneth Watson. Kenneth is currently attending the Universal Technical Institute to become a Diesel Technician. After graduation he has plans to attend Manufacturer Specific Training in Chicago, Illinois for 4 months, where he was chosen based on his 4.0 GPA and 100% Attendance.
Brittney Watson is the Co-Founder of Changing Lanes, which is a non-profit organization that mentors teenagers. Changing Lanes’ mission statement is to, “Help young people make better life choices one decision at a time”. This is something that Brittney is very passionate about. She enjoys speaking and sharing her life’s journey with young people, and especially young girls. As a young person, Brittney played Basketball and Volleyball; She enjoyed riding her bike and playing Barbies. As an adult, Brittney enjoys helping young people prepare for their future.
